Winsor & Newton is pleased to launch an open call for a new Artist Residency Program at Manufacturers Village in East Orange, NJ. We are embarking on an inspiring journey to ignite creativity, champion emerging talents, and celebrate the transformative power of artistic expression—capturing it all Through the Eyes of the Artist.

Through this residency, one artist will have access to a fully equipped studio stocked with their choice of Winsor & Newton products, valued at up to $1,500.

About the Program

This residency focuses on contemporary watercolor art, inviting artists to push the boundaries of their creativity. With access to dedicated space, premium materials, and the freedom to explore, participants can immerse themselves in artistic expression, deepen their knowledge, and forge meaningful connections within a vibrant community of fellow artists.

Private Studio Experience

The residency spans eight weeks, from April 15 to June 10, 2025, set in a bright, airy loft in Manufacturers Village—a historic 19th-century industrial complex in East Orange, NJ just outside of New York City. This inspiring location serves as the perfect backdrop for artistic innovation.
