A blog by Ian Maginnis
Ian Maginnis works for Winsor & Newton in the role of Painting and Technical Advisor. His experience comes from a degree in colour chemistry followed by years in Winsor & Newton's laboratories working as a Research and Development Chemist.
Apart from expertise in colour chemistry, he is an artist who specialises primarily in marine art. Living in South Africa, he spends much of his time painting in between answering questions about Winsor & Newton's art materials.
This blog will give you an insight into various technical aspects of Winsor & Newton's products through the eyes of an accomplished artist.
